What Is A Hearing Health Assessment?

A hearing health assessment is used to identify how well you can hear different tones, varying frequencies and volumes. It is a painless procedure that involves you listening to a series of tones. Once you hear the tones you respond to them by pressing a button or, due to the current climate, raising your hand. Your response will be measured on a graph, this hearing test graph will show how well you respond to certain frequencies, displaying your ability in each ear on how well you can hear certain sounds.

The whole process varies in time but shouldn’t take longer than half an hour. During this time our hearing test specialist will take you through the hearing test process, explaining how the test works and going through your results to advise you on the best hearing aid for you and what you can expect. They will also be happy to answer any questions you may have and ensure you have all the information you need to make an informed choice.
